 There is a section of the company that specialises and is dedicated to the high speed accurate Drilling, Tapping and Profiling of component parts.
Our workshop is equipped with the very latest Sykes Ten Station Fanuc Controlled Drilling Centres.
The speeds and positional accuracy of these machines provide a means of offering:
- High Speed, High Precision Machining at Cost Effective Prices
The machines are capable of:
- Drilling holes at speeds of between 80 - 8000 rpm
- Feed rates of 1 - 10,000 mm/min
- Rigid Tapping of holes at speeds of 4000 rpm
- Positional Repeatability of +/- 2 microns
- Rapid Travers at speeds of 36 m/min
- Tool change times of 1.0 second
The machines have:
- Working area of 650mm x 38 mm
- Maximum tool diameter of 80mm
