Accurate Levelling - With the range of Precision Levelling Adjusters
The
patented range of Precision Levelling Adjusters (PLA) provides
a means of accurate levelling, location, spacing and precise
adjustment.
The range has been developed for use with Machines, Motors, Drive Shafts, Machine Cradles, Bearings, Production Equipment, and a multitude of other applications.
The PLA provides the user with a universal re-usable adjuster that can replace complicated and expensive specials or in the most simple of situations the time consuming use of shims.
The PLA can quickly and safely solve most adjustment problems.

General Overview
The Precision Levelling Adjusters (PLA) consists of :-
A fine threaded mounting top (Item 1) nesting within an internally fine threaded nut base (Item 2). Levelling and adjustment is accomplished with the use of spanner wrenches.
The integration of a safety end-stop, (Item 3) eliminates over adjustment, and ensures that the total load is maintained through the entire levelling distance.
The fine thread design permits precise adjustment.
Once the necessary level of adjustment has been reached, it is set firmly by tightening the mounting or anchor bolts passing through the central hole of the unit.
Re-adjustment is easily accomplished by simply relaxing the mounting bolt, adjusting the PLA, and once again tightening the mounting bolt. With a motor resting on the PLA, tightening a drive belt is simple, loosen the mounting bolt, level the motor with the spanner wrenches, and re-tighten the bolt.

The HVS series offers the greatest range of adjustment with h of 15mm to 55mm |
| The HVSK series incorporates
a locknut which enables the adjuster to be secured in
a pre-set position making it ideal for dynamic load applications
or as a locater for pre-established height adjustment
after disassembling. |

The NAE series has the
same functionality as the HVS range but its compact design
is intended for use where space is a limitation. Adjustment
h is limited to between 4mm and 14mm. |
| KAE
and KAS series if there
are two non-parallel surfaces, the company recommends
using the KAE Ball Head Adjuster or the KAS Ball Shim
series, which can compensate for an angle of inclination
up to approximately 4º. Both the KAE
and KAS ball and cup
elements are self contained units , eliminating the need
for assembly thereby making handling and installation
on site simpler. |

The application of the Ball Head Precision
Adjuster - KAE - facilitates
precise adjustment of nonparallel surfaces with a maximum
adjustment angle of 4°. |
The Ball Shim - KAS
- has the same non-parallel compensation function as
the Ball head Precision Adjuster KAE.
The Ball Shim KAS
(Pos A) and the HVS
provides a solution when assembling angled surfaces
up to an angle of inclination of = approx. 4°. (Note:
- When exceeds 1° out of parallel, an additional KAS
(Pos B) is recommended to align and support the screw/bolt
head.) |

The XY
series facilitates both vertical and horizontal
adjustment. In application, it is often found that in
addition to vertical adjustment, a slight horizontal
adjustment is also required. It is important to obtain
an accurate alignment in both directions. For this purpose
a new base has been developed, which allows a two-axial
adjustment.
The XY series is
available in the following PLA styles HVS,
HVSK, NAE
and KAE. |

provides a means of increasing adjustment when the standard
travel h is insufficient. The HS series of Spanners Wrenches are
