Project: Europipe
Highest precision and environmental safety was required for the project EUROPIPE. For a distance of 2535 metres the natural gas pipeline had to be laid into a concrete tunnel in the tidal range of the coastal North Sea, a natural preserve with the highest environmental safety code level.
Before the empty space in the tunnel was filled with concrete, the twin natural gas pipelines had to be aligned with a very high degree of precision to assure a tension-free pipeline run. The use of the HVS 50-22 made this possible and the project was a complete success.
