Applications
Manufactured from high quality materials selected for their load bearing,
shock and vibration absorbing properties, the mounts are suitable for a wide
range of free standing workshop machinery such as:
Plate Shears, Carpentry Machines, Milling Machines, Nibbling Machines, Punches
and Cutters, Presses, Plastic Moulding Machinery, Lathes
Construction
The Anti Vibration Mount comprises of four main components: -
1. Adjustment Bolt
Available with either Square (1a) or Hexagon (1b) Headed Bolts. Supplied
with metric fine threads to facilitate fine adjustment and Minimise the effort
required
to level machines.
2. Damper Casing
Manufactured in accordance with Nen 6002D from Lamellar Cast Iron Grade GG25
which has been chosen for its high vibration Damping, shock loading and ear
resistant qualities. Protected with an Impact and wear resistant powder coating
enabling
the vibration mount to be used in damp conditions.
3. Nodular Adjusting Bottom Plate
Having similar properties to the Damper Casing but with the added benefits
of a high level of both ductility and toughness enabling extreme crushing loads
to be absorbed without failure.
4. Rubber Base Pad
Manufactured from a special composition of Nitril-Rubber with exceptional compression
set values, along with powerful vibration damping and shock absorbing properties.
The material has a high resistance to Wear, Oils and Acids enabling the mount
to be used in most industries.
